The first demo I have of Twenty Three, which until recently was called “Disagreement with David Bowie over the song all the young dudes.” I repent of my pretentiousness.
I’ve probably played this the most live over the last year and a half, and it’s interesting hearing what it was like when it was new. It’s faster, and my guitar style was a lot bashier. I was listening to an awesome band called the Wave Pictures at the time, and I’m copying the wail in the singer’s voice a bit. It’s nice how you never worry about those sorts of things banging out demos like this.
I just listened to the second mixes of the album Tex has sent me, and it’s sounding sterling. Artwork is in the works now too.
