I love TextEdit. Tonight I started trawling through all the half written songs I have on TextEdit files and it did my head in. Like looking at pieces of my brain I threw in the bin.

I was trying to think - if I was to set a start point for this album I’ve been making - where would I put it? One answer would be the moment I stopped using slow, annoying Microsoft Word to write lyrics, and started using text edit. That was about two years ago. There are 168 items in my lyrics folder. There will be ten songs on the album.
